Dac′tyl‐o‐zo″oid (dăk′tĭ‐lō̍‐zō″oid), n. [Gr. δάκτυλοσ finger + E. zooid.] (Zoöl.) A kind of zooid of Siphonophora which has an elongated or even vermiform body, with one tentacle, but no mouth. See Siphonophora.
