‖De‐cac′e‐ra″ta (?), n. pl. [NL., fr. Gr. δέκα ten + κέρασ a horn.] (Zoöl.) The division of Cephalopoda which includes the squids, cuttlefishes, and others having ten arms or tentacles; — called also Decapoda. [Written also Decacera.] See Dibranchiata.
