Del′to‐he″dron (?), n. [Gr. δέλτα, the letter Δ + ἔδρα seat, base.] (Crystallog.) A solid bounded by twelve quadrilateral faces. It is a hemihedral form of the isometric system, allied to the tetrahedron.
