‖Di′ar‐thro″sis (?), n. [NL., fr. Gr. �, fr. � to joint, articulate; διά through, asunder + � to fasten by a joint, ἄρθρον joint.] (Anat.) A form of articulation which admits of considerable motion; a complete joint; abarticulation. See Articulation.
