‖Dic‐tam″nus (dĭk‐tăm″nŭs), n. [L. See Dittany.] (Bot.) A suffrutescent herb, D. Fraxinella (the only species), with strong perfume and showy flowers. The volatile oil of the leaves is highly inflammable.
