Diph″yl‐lous (dĭf″ĭl‐lŭs or dī̍‐fĭl″–), a. [Gr. δι- = δίσ- twice + φύλλον leaf: cf. F. diphylle.] (Bot.) Having two leaves, as a calyx, etc.
