Ei‐kon″o‐gen (?), n. [Gr. εικὤν, εικὄνοσ, image + root of γίγνεσθαι to be born.] (Photog. & Chem.) The sodium salt of a sulphonic acid of a naphthol, C10H5(OH)(NH2)SO3Na used as a developer.
