En′zo‐öt″ic (ĕn′zō̍‐ŏt″ĭk), a. [Gr. εν̓ in + ζῳ̑ον an animal: cf. F. enzoötique.] Afflicting animals; — used of a disease affecting the animals of a district. It corresponds to an endemic disease among men.
