Epicure

Ep″i‐cure (?), n. [L. Epicurus, Gr. �, a famous Greek philosopher, who has been regarded, but erroneously, as teaching a doctrine of refined voluptuousness.] 1. A follower of Epicurus; an Epicurean. Bacon.

2. One devoted to dainty or luxurious sensual enjoyments, esp. to the luxuries of the table.
