E‐ric″i‐nol (ē̍‐rĭs″ĭ‐nōl), n. [NL. ericaceae the Heath family + L. oleum oil.] (Chem.) A colorless oil (quickly becoming brown), with a pleasant odor, obtained by the decomposition of ericolin.
