‖Eu′plec‐tel″la (?), n. [NL., fr. Gr. � well plaited; εὐ̑ well + � plaited.] (Zoöl) A genus of elegant, glassy sponges, consisting of interwoven siliceous fibers, and growing in the form of a cornucopia; — called also Venus's flower-basket.
