Ex‐ac″er‐bate (ĕgz‐ăs″ẽr‐bāt; 277), v. t. [imp. & p. p.Exacerbated (–bā′tĕd); p. pr. & vb. n.Exacerbating (–bā′tĭng).] [L. exacerbatus, p. p. of exacerbare; ex out (intens.) + acerbare.
