Ex″pe‐dite, v. t. [imp. & p. p.Expedited (?); p. pr. & vb. n.Expediting (?).] 1. To relieve of impediments; to facilitate; to accelerate the process or progress of; to hasten; to quicken; as, to expedite the growth of plants.
