Flick (flĭk), v. t. [imp. & p. p.Flicked (flĭkt); p. pr. & vb. n.Flicking.] [Cf. Flicker.] To whip lightly or with a quick jerk; to flap; as, to flick a horse; to flick the dirt from boots. Thackeray.
