Fore‐see″ (?), v. t. [AS. foreseón; fore + seón to see. See See, v. t.] 1. To see beforehand; to have prescience of; to foreknow.

A prudent man foreseeth the evil. Prov. xxii. 3.

2. To provide.

Great shoals of people, which go on to populate, without foreseeing means of life. Bacon.
