Ge‐og″no‐sy (?), n. [Gr. γέα, γη̑, the earth + γνω̑σισ knowing, knowledge, fr. γιγνώσκειν to know: cf. F. géognosie.] That part of geology which treats of the materials of the earth's structure, and its general exterior and interior constitution.
