{ Gis‐mon″dine (jĭs‐mŏn″dĭn), Gis‐mon″dite (jĭs‐mŏn″dīt), } n. [From the name of the discoverer, Gismondi.] (Min.) A native hydrated silicate of alumina, lime, and potash, first noticed near Rome.
