Gynæcophore

Gy‐næ″co‐phore (jĭ‐nē″kō̍‐fōr), n. [Gr. γυναικει̑ον the women's apartments + φέρειν to bear.] (Zoöl.) A ventral canal or groove, in which the males of some diœcious trematodes carry the female. See Illust. of Hæmatozoa.
