Hag″don (hăg″dŏn), n.(Zoöl.) One of several species of sea birds of the genus Puffinus; esp., P. major, the greater shearwarter, and P. Stricklandi, the black hagdon or sooty shearwater; — called also hagdown, haglin, and hag. See Shearwater.
