Har′mo‐nom″e‐ter (–nŏm″ē̍‐tẽr), n. [Gr. αρμονἵα harmony + meter: cf. F. harmonomètre.] An instrument for measuring the harmonic relations of sounds. It is often a monochord furnished with movable bridges.
