Hex‐ac′ti‐nel″line (?), a. [From NL. Hexactinellinæ, fr. Gr. ἕξ six + a dim. of �, �, a ray.] (Zoöl.) Belonging to the Hexactinellinæ, a group of sponges, having six-rayed siliceous spicules.
