Ho‐mer″ic (?), a. [L. Homericus, Gr. Ομηρικὅσ.] Of or pertaining to Homer, the most famous of Greek poets; resembling the poetry of Homer.
Homeric verse, hexameter verse; — so called because used by Homer in his epics.
