{ Hy″a‐des (?), Hy″ads (?), } n. pl. [L. Hyades, Gr. �.] (Astron.) A cluster of five stars in the face of the constellation Taurus, supposed by the ancients to indicate the coming of rainy weather when they rose with the sun.
