Hy′dro‐cele (?), n. [L., fr. Gr. �; ὕδωρ water + � tumor.] (Med.) A collection of serous fluid in the areolar texture of the scrotum or in the coverings, especially in the serous sac, investing the testicle or the spermatic cord; dropsy of the testicle.
