Hyp′o‐cra‐ter′i‐mor″phous (?), a. [Pref. hypo- + Gr. κρατήρ bowl + μορφή form.] (Bot.) Salver-shaped; having a slender tube, expanding suddenly above into a bowl-shaped or spreading border, as in the blossom of the phlox and the lilac.
