In‐firm″a‐ry (ĭn‐fẽrm″ȧ‐ry̆), n.; pl.Infirmaries (–rĭz). [Cf. OE. fermerie, OF. enfermerie, F. infirmerie, LL. infirmaria. See Infirm.] A hospital, or place where the infirm or sick are lodged and nursed gratuitously, or where out-patients are treated.
