Inviscate

In‐vis″cate (?), v. t. [imp. & p. p.Inviscated (?); p. pr. & vb. n.Inviscating (?).] [L. inviscatus, p. p. of inviscare to birdlime; pref. in- in + viscum, viscus, the mistletoe, birdlime.] To daub or catch with glue or birdlime; to entangle with glutinous matter. Sir T. Browne.
