{ Lac″u‐nose′ (?), La‐cu″nous (?), } a. [L. lacunosus full of holes or hollows; cf. F. lacuneux. See Lacuna.] (Biol.) Furrowed or pitted; having shallow cavities or lacunæ; as, a lacunose leaf.
