Leg′er‐de‐main″ (lĕj′ẽr‐dē̍‐mān″), n. [F. léger light, nimble + de of + main hand, L. manus. See 3d Leger, and Manual.] Sleight of hand; a trick of sleight of hand; hence, any artful deception or trick.
