‖Lep′i‐do‐sau″ri‐a (–dō̍‐sa̤″rĭ‐ȧ), n. pl. [NL., fr. Gr. λεπίσ-ίδοσ, a scale + σαυ̑ροσ a lizard.] (Zoöl.) A division of reptiles, including the serpents and lizards; the Plagiotremata.
