‖Leu′ca‐den″dron (lū′kȧ‐dĕn″drŏn), n. [NL., fr. Gr. λευκόσ white + δένδρον tree.] (Bot.) A genus of evergreen shrubs from the Cape of Good Hope, having handsome foliage. Leucadendron argenteum is the silverboom of the colonists.
