Leu‐cox″ene (lū̍‐kŏks″ēn), n. [Leuco- + Gr. ξένοσ stranger.] (Min.) A nearly opaque white mineral, in part identical with titanite, observed in some igneous rocks as the result of the alteration of titanic iron.
