Lib″er‐al‐ize (lĭb″ẽr‐al‐īz), v. t. [imp. & p. p.Liberalized (–īzd); p. pr. & vb. n.Liberalizing (–ī′zĭng).] [Cf. F. libéraliser.] To make liberal; to free from narrow views or prejudices.
