Lip″o‐chrin (lĭp″ō̍‐krĭn), n. [Gr. λίποσ fat + χρόα color.] (Physiol. Chem.) A yellow coloring matter, soluble in ether, contained in the small round fat drops in the retinal epithelium cells. It is best obtained from the eyes of frogs.
