Lock″er (?), n. 1. One who, or that which, locks.

2. A drawer, cupboard, compartment, or chest, esp. one in a ship, that may be closed with a lock.

Chain locker(Naut.), a compartment in the hold of a vessel, for holding the chain cables. — Davy Jones's locker, orDavy's locker. See Davy Jones. — Shot locker, a compartment where shot are deposited. Totten.
