Mel″i‐lite (mĕl″ĭ‐līt), n. [Gr. μέλι honey + -lite; cf. F. mélilithe.] (Min.) A mineral occurring in small yellow crystals, found in the lavas (melilite basalt) of Vesuvius, and elsewhere. [Written also mellilite.]
