Me‐nin″ges (–jēz), n. pl.; sing. Meninx (�). [NL., fr. Gr. μη̑νιγξ, -ιγγοσ, a membrane.] (Anat.) The three membranes that envelop the brain and spinal cord; the pia mater, dura mater, and arachnoid membrane.
