Mi′cro‐spec″tro‐scope (mī′krō̍‐spĕk″trō̍‐skōp or mĭ′krō̍–), n. [Micro- + spectroscope.] (Physics) A spectroscope arranged for attachment to a microscope, for observation of the spectrum of light from minute portions of any substance.
