‖Mi′o‐hip″pus (?), n. [NL., fr. Gr. μείων less + ιππὅσ horse.] (Paleon.) An extinct Miocene mammal of the Horse family, closely related to the genus Anhithecrium, and having three usable hoofs on each foot.
