‖My‐el″o‐plax (?), n.; pl. E. Myeloplaxes (#), L. Myeloplaces (#). [NL., fr. Gr. μυελόσ marrow + � anything flat and broad.] (Anat.) One of the huge multinucleated cells found in the marrow of bone and occasionally in other parts; a giant cell. See Osteoclast.
