Nau″tic‐al (?), a. [L. nauticus, Gr. ναυτικόσ, fr. ναύτησ a seaman, sailor, fr. ναυ̑σ ship: cf. F. nautique. See Nave of a church.] Of or pertaining to seamen, to the art of navigation, or to ships; as, nautical skill.
