Nematoidea

‖Nem′a‐toi″de‐a (?), n. pl. [NL., fr. Gr. νη̑μα, νήματοσ, thread + -oid.] (Zoöl.) An order of worms, having a long, round, and generally smooth body; the roundworms. They are mostly parasites. Called also Nematodea, and Nematoda.
