Nudge (nŭj), v. t. [imp. & p. p.Nudged (nŭjd); p. pr. & vb. n.Nudging.] [Cf. Prov. G. knütschen to squeeze, pinch, E. Knock.] To touch gently, as with the elbow, in order to call attention or convey intimation.
