O′ce‐an″ic (ō′shē̍‐ăn″ĭk), a. [Cf. F. océanique. See Ocean.] 1. Of or pertaining to the ocean; found or formed in or about, or produced by, the ocean; frequenting the ocean, especially mid-ocean.
