‖Oc‐tan″dri‐a (?), n. pl. [NL., fr. Gr. οκτἀ- (for οκτὤ eight) + �, �, male, man.] (Bot.) A Linnæan class of plants, in which the flowers have eight stamens not united to one another or to the pistil.
