‖O‐don′to‐ce″te (ō̍‐dŏn″tō̍‐sē″tē̍), n. pl. [NL., from Gr. οδοὔσ, οδὄντοσ, a tooth + κη̑τοσ a whale.] (Zoöl.) A subdivision of Cetacea, including the sperm whale, dolphins, etc.; the toothed whales.
