O‐gyg″i‐an (ō̍‐jĭj″ĭ‐an), a. [L. Ogygius, Gr. Ογὔγιοσ.] Of or pertaining to Ogyges, a mythical king of ancient Attica, or to a great deluge in Attica in his days; hence, primeval; of obscure antiquity.
