‖O′phi‐u″chus (?), n. [L., fr. Gr. �, lit., holding a serpent; ὄφισ a serpent + � to hold.] (Astron.) A constellation in the Northern Hemisphere, delineated as a man holding a serpent in his hands; — called also Serpentarius.
