Oph′thal‐mom″e‐ter, n. [Gr. οφθαλμὄσ eye + -meter.] (Physiol.) An instrument devised by Helmholtz for measuring the size of a reflected image on the convex surface of the cornea and lens of the eye, by which their curvature can be ascertained.
