Oreodon

O″re‐o‐don (?), n. [Gr. ὄροσ, -εοσ, mountain + οδοὔσ, οδὄντοσ, tooth.] (Paleon.) A genus of extinct herbivorous mammals, abundant in the Tertiary formation of the Rocky Mountains. It is more or less related to the camel, hog, and deer.
